Alexander Paterson Brown has lived a life shaped by nature and its unpredictability. From his youth navigating boats along the Fraser River to working as a commercial salmon fisherman, he became deeply familiar with both the beauty and danger of the natural world.

After surviving powerful storms and the sinking of his fishing boat, he chose a quieter path—one that would eventually lead him to storytelling. What began as simple children’s stories for his daughters grew into a lifelong relationship with writing.

Today, after decades of private reflection, he shares poetry that mirrors the seasons of life—where love, loss, and time unfold like the changing weather.
